We’re pleased to announce our keynote speaker: Howard Tinberg.
Howard Tinberg (PhD Brandeis) is Professor of English at Bristol Community College, Massachusetts. With a career interest in promoting the scholarship of teaching and learning, he is author of three books: Border Talk, Writing with Consequences, and Community College Writers; co-author of Teaching, Learning, and the Holocaust: An Integrative Approach; and co-editor of What is College Level Writing? Tinberg is a past chair of CCCC and a past editor of Teaching English in the Two-Year College, and he has published articles in College English, CCC, English Journal, the ADE Bulletin, and elsewhere. He has been named the Carnegie/CASE national Professor of the Year, served as a Carnegie Scholar, and was appointed a fellow of the U.S. Holocaust Museum.
